Axiom has significant experience with financial systems in particular SAP. Axiom was engaged on an assignment with the NSW Department of Education and Training in Sydney, as part of the Department’s migration to an SAP ECC 6.0 finance solution.

Axiom was responsible for the design and implementation of a single chart of accounts. Axiom managed all aspects of the code block development including profit centres, cost centres, funded programs, general ledger accounts and projects. The solution encompassed the creation of the external consolidation reporting requirements to NSW Treasury.

Axiom has also provided specialist SAP services to the Australian National Audit Office. Axiom has the capability to provide services such as:

• Testing for segregation of duties concerns within SAP roles and profiles to ensure current processes are in line with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) best practice.

• Analysis of key in built configurations of controls within the SAP environment and provision of recommendations based on business requirements.

• Analysis of SAP transactions for integrity risks, potential fraudulent activity and inappropriate user access.

• Data analysis exercises using SAP. Our specific experience includes the interrogation of SAP to quality assure data for annual financial reporting. We have performed this both through standard access and via System Administrator tools.
